8" PoE touch panel with customisable layout - VISUAL PRODUCTIONS VIS-KIOSCTOUCH2

Visual Productions KioscTouch2 is an 8-inch capacitive touch panel created for controlling lighting systems and integrating AV equipment in professional environments. It provides an intuitive, fully customisable user interface for semi-permanent or mobile installations, including touring applications. A simple, robust magnetic system is used for wall mounting, while PoE power requires only one RJ-45 cable to carry both data and power.

The free Kiosc Editor application is pre-installed and supplied with management and editing software for designing multi-page graphic interfaces. Pages can contain buttons, faders, colour selectors, XY controls, images and text, including dynamic and transparent graphic elements. Each element can be programmed to transmit and receive OSC and UDP messages. This makes the panel suitable for Visual Productions controllers such as CueCore, DaliCore and LPU-2, as well as third-party devices. Real-time feedback can also be displayed on the screen.

The 1280 x 800 pixel high-resolution display supports portrait and landscape orientation, transparent images, custom logos and graphic backgrounds. Buttons can be assigned freely to any function, including cue recall, playback advance and dimmer adjustment. Access may be secured with a PIN code for situations where operation must be restricted to authorised personnel. Multiple KioscTouch2 units can be connected over a network to build distributed control systems, providing advanced network compatibility and expandability.

Compared with the previous version, this model has a larger screen, higher resolution, an improved viewing angle and a slimmer design, while retaining a rugged construction. It is intended for live events, architectural installations, system integration projects and shows. The technical configuration includes VESA 50 wall mounting, Power over Ethernet PoE class 0, OSC, UDP and TCP support, IP40 protection and compatibility with networked distributed control systems. The interface can be used to recall cues, control dimmers, advance playback and operate other freely assigned functions.

Operating temperature ranges from -20 to 50 °C. Compliance is stated as EN55103-1, EN55103-2, EC and FCC. Dimensions are 19.9 x 12.4 x 3 cm and weight is 580 g. The Kiosc Editor supports custom multi-page layouts with buttons, faders, colour selectors, XY controls, images, text, transparent graphics, logos and backgrounds, while the panel can send and receive OSC and UDP messages and show current feedback in real time.
