DALI DALI-2 DT-8 DMX lighting controller - VISUAL PRODUCTIONS VIS-DALICORE

Visual Productions DaliCore is a lighting controller supporting DALI and, following a software update, also DALI-2 and DT-8. It is intended for architectural and architainment installations, performance spaces, facade lighting, museums, churches, cruise ships, trade fair stands, shopping malls, hotels and restaurants, discos, gardens and lounges. In these settings it can operate as a stand-alone DALI solution.

DaliCore handles commissioning and the daily control of DALI luminaires. In projects combining DMX and DALI, it removes the need for DMX-to-DALI converters. The controller accepts signal protocols such as DMX, Art-Net and sACN and activates the required DALI control, producing smoother dimming curves than real-time conversion of DMX values into DALI values.

Although its DMX port can be used for conversion, it is primarily intended to support hybrid DALI and DMX installations. DaliCore can recall lighting scenes containing both DALI and DMX luminaires and is compatible with the RDM protocol for configuring fixtures via DMX.

The unit is not supplied with a power supply. The bus power supply, for example Mean Well DLP-04R, provides 16 VDC on the bus cables. The controller supports DIN rail mounting, DALI, DMX512-A (ANSI E1.11), RDM (ANSI E1.20), Ethernet, sACN and Art-Net, 4 GPI ports for contact-closure or 0-10 V, and screw terminals. It also supports Power over Ethernet, class I, and 9-24 V DC at 500 mA, with an optional PSU. Operating temperature is -20 to 50 °C, with compliance to EN55103-1 and EN55103-2.
