Generator and converter Time Code LTC MTC - VISUAL PRODUCTIONS VIS-TIMECORE

Visual Productions TimeCore is a compact device for handling every operation related to Time Code. It can generate, follow, convert and display Time Code signals, while also handling several protocols outside the Time Code domain. The unit can operate as a Time Code master and generate a stable signal, or it can be configured as a Time Code slave. A large LED display provides a real-time reading of the current Time Code frame, and 2 user-definable push-buttons can be assigned according to the required setup.

TimeCore receives and transmits SMPTE LTC, MTC and Ethernet-based Time Code through Art-Net, with conversion available between any of these protocols. It can also convert between frame rates 24, 25, 29.97 and 30. Support includes MIDI Time Code, MIDI notes, MMC and MSC, together with TCP, UDP, OSC, Art-Net and sACN for show control. Messages received through these protocols can start, stop or manipulate the Time Code.

An Ethernet port provides access to the internal web server, which allows the device behaviour to be fully configured. TimeCore uses professional lighting protocols such as Art-Net and sACN and can interact directly with any lighting desk. The unit supports Show Control functions and is compatible with Kiosc.

The device is designed for architectural and architainment installations, show lighting and facade lighting, museums, churches, cruise ships, exhibition booths, shopping centres, hotels and restaurants, discotheques, gardens and lounges. Its functionality can be expanded with other members of the core product family: IoCore adds GPI, 0-10V, GPO and RS-232 ports; CueCore adds DMX-512 control and recorded lighting shows; B-Station can operate as a remote control.

TimeCore therefore combines Time Code master, slave and converter operation with a dedicated display, SMPTE LTC, MTC, MIDI Time Code, Art-Net Time Code, TCP, UDP, OSC, Art-Net, sACN, MIDI notes, MMC and MSC support. It is compatible with Kiosc Desktop and can be DIN-rail mounted. Power is supplied via PoE Class I.
