The Briteq BT-NODE 283 is an Ethernet node built to convert ArtNet and sACN protocols into DMX512 signals, supporting multi-universe distribution across demanding lighting rigs. It provides eight DMX ports, each assignable as input or output, for advanced layouts: multi-zone routing, console merging, automatic backup, and RDM integration.

Setup is available through a web interface or on the unit itself via a graphic LCD display and rotary encoder; DHCP is supported, with predefined and custom presets plus IP merge functions to combine multiple universes intuitively. A rugged 19″ 1U rack chassis houses 3-pin XLR connectors, a 100 – 240 VAC powerCON supply with input and output for daisy-chaining, and automatic Ethernet bypass that keeps the network live even if the unit is powered down or fails.
