eDMX node 4-port Art-Net sACN DMX DIN rail - Visual Productions VIS-RDMNODE

Visual Productions RdmNode is a 4-port eDMX node that enables bi-directional communication between the controller and DMX devices. It is useful for configuring, monitoring and diagnosing lighting fixtures without physically accessing each fixture. The node converts Art-Net and sACN to DMX-512 and also handles the reverse conversion.

Configuration is handled through an intuitive web interface with drag-and-drop functions for straightforward data routing, merging processes and port settings. A single click opens presets for the most common data conversions, saving time and effort. When paired with the Visual Productions CueCore3 control system, RdmNode unlocks 4 additional control universes and becomes an essential part of the lighting toolkit.

As an advanced component of the DMX infrastructure, RdmNode is ready to handle bi-directional fixture data using the RDM protocol over Art-Net. This feature will be enabled by a future firmware update, keeping the system prepared for further developments. Its compact DIN Rail form factor is ideal for integrating architectural lighting systems and projects. Applications include architectural lighting projects, live events and performances such as concerts, light shows and theatre use, commercial installations, and TV and film productions.

RdmNode provides an Ethernet port and supports programming through the web interface. It includes 4 DMX512-A ports compliant with ANSI E1.11, opto-isolated and bi-directional, together with RDM over Art-Net pending a firmware upgrade. It supports Art-Net and sACN, Power over Ethernet class I, and 9–24 V DC at 500 mA; the PSU is optional. vManager software is bundled, and the unit unlocks universes in CueCore3. The operating temperature is -20 to 50 °C. Compliance includes CE, ROHS and UKCA.
